Installing
- Download the APK and open it. Android will ask once whether to allow installation from this source.
- Start the app and enter the address of your server, including
https://. - Sign in with the account the administrator created for you.
- Grant access to photographs if you intend to use automatic upload.
A self-signed certificateAndroid will refuse a certificate it does not trust. Either use an automatically issued certificate on the server, or install your own root certificate on the phone — turning validation off is not offered, because it would remove the protection the connection exists to provide.
Automatic photo upload
- Choose the destination folder on the server.
- Decide whether uploads happen on mobile data or only on Wi-Fi.
- Photographs taken after that are uploaded in the background.
- An interrupted upload resumes; nothing is sent twice.
Android and background workIf uploads only happen when the app is open, the system has put it to sleep. Excluding the app from battery optimisation in Android's settings is what restores background transfers.
When it will not connect

Frequently asked questions
Does it work over FTP?
No — the app uses the server's own API over HTTPS. The FTP details in your profile are there for desktop clients.
Can two phones use one account?
Yes. Each gets its own session token.
